Never Ending Love

This 2" thick sculpture is a memorial piece.  It utilizes screen printing and powders to create a dimensional image.  The heart shaped branches of the tree were cropped from a photo I took of a tree in Zilker Park in Austin, Texas.  The tree had several heart shaped intersections that were used to message the intent of this piece.  Nature provided a beautiful canvas that allowed me to utilize clear and blue sheet glass along with various glass powders to produce a piece representing love and peace.
